Can transparent squishies be made without Flocking Powder?

Effect of transparent squishy after powder application - blurred and non-transparent
Why is powder usually used?
Traditionally, powder is added to prevent stickiness to hands, keep dust from clinging and stop squishies from sticking to each other. But powder can make your squishy look cloudy or hazy, taking away that crystal -clear effect we all love.
Can you skip the powder?
Yes! You can make transparent squishies without powder — just be sure to:
- Store them in a sealed bag
- Keep them away from dust or lint
- Expect a bit of stickiness — that’s normal due to the nature of the finished squishies.
Important Note:
There’s no perfect way to eliminate stickiness completely (it's a material thing!), but storing your squishy in a bag helps preserve that gorgeous clear look while keeping things clean and fun.
