Difficulty: ★☆☆☆☆
Crafting Time: About 1–2 hours
Material Preparation
- Materials: Animal molds, flex rubber, flocking powder, silicone pigment paste, Vaseline, eye shadow plate, black UV resin
- Tools: Electronic scale, packaging bag, measuring cup, stirring stick, brush
- Protective Equipment: Always wear nitrile waterproof gloves, a waterproof apron, and a mask for safe handling.
Environment Setup
- Ideal Conditions: Maintain a temperature between 73–78°F with humidity no higher than 50–60% RH.
- Ventilation: Work in a well-ventilated area, ideally near a window or use an air purifier for better airflow.
Step-by-step Instructions
Step 1
Apply a thin layer of vaseline to the inner side of the mold. Avoid applying too much, as excess vaseline may leave textures on the finished product.

Step 2
Mix the flex rubber in a 1:1 weight ratio, add the color pigment, and stir thoroughly for about 1-2 minutes until the mixture is evenly blended.
Tip:Let the mixed flex rubber rest for 3-5 minutes to degas before pouring it into the mold.

Step 3
Pour the flex rubber into the mold in one go.

Step 4
After the product has cured, gently peel the squisies from the side of the mold with your fingers, then carefully flip it out to complete the demolding.
Tip:The squisies are quite soft—forcing them during demolding may cause tearing.

Step 5
After demolding, wash the squishy with soapy water to remove surface vaseline and prevent clumping during flocking powder application. Rinse it thoroughly, then pat dry with a lint-free kitchen towel or cloth.

Step 6
Apply eyeshadow to the animal's nose, paws, and blush areas to add depth and dimension.

Step 7
Squeeze two small drops with black UV resin to mimic eyes, cure them under a UV lamp, and attach them to squishy with silicone glue.

Step 8
Sprinkle flocking powder evenly over the surface of the finished product and gently brush it to distribute the powder evenly.

Step 9
Finally, pack it in a bag—and it’s ready to play with!

Pro Tip
If the squishes get dirty or oily, clean them with soapy water. Avoid using paper towels to prevent lint from sticking to the surface. It is recommended to wipe it with a lint-free cloth.
