- Ventilation: Work in a well-ventilated area, ideally near a window or use an air purifier for better airflow.
Step-by-step Instructions
Step 1
Start by pouring clear UV resin into a small measuring cup. Slowly add a few drops of resin dye and stir until well mixed. Let the mixture sit for a bit to allow any bubbles to rise and disappear.
Tip: Work in a shaded area so the UV resin doesn’t start curing while you’re still mixing!
Step 2
Pour the colored resin into your mold. Use a toothpick to gently pop any air bubbles that may appear.
Step 3
For a beautiful gradient, pour half of the resin into the top of the mold. Then, mix a darker shade of resin and pour it into the other half. Let the two colors naturally blend together for a smooth gradient look.
Step 4
To achieve some patterns, pour a thin layer of resin, then add a different color in the center. Use a toothpick to swirl them together and create a unique design.
Step 5
Once you're happy with your design, cure the resin under a UV lamp for 1 minute.
Tip: After the front side is set, flip the mold and cure for another 2 minutes to make sure everything is fully hardened.
