Wrinkle Effect and Brush Powder Tips
Creating a perfect wrinkled texture requires attention to resin temperature and the type of plastic film you use. Here are some tips for common issues.

4. Step-by-step Instructions
Follow these steps to create your heart-shaped commemorative photo piece!
Step 1
Cut a cold lamination film slightly larger than the photo.

Step 2
Lift one side of the film, align it with the photo, and apply it smoothly from one side, pressing with a squeegee to remove air bubbles.

Step 3
Cover both sides of the photo, keeping the seams close to prevent resin seepage. Trim any excess film with scissors.

Step 4
Pour a layer of clear epoxy resin into the heart-shaped mold (about 1/6 of the mold’s height). Let it cure for 8 hours. Seal your photos with cold lamination film.

Step 5
Apply a thin layer of resin on the photo, then invert it into the mold. Press gently to position it and remove excess bubbles - this method minimizes bubble formation.

Step 6
Pour another layer of resin over the photo, and decorate with pearls or other embellishments. Let it cure.

Step 7
Mix resin with glitters and pour into the mold. Lay a piece of plastic wrap over the surface, applying from one side to the other to avoid trapping air.

Step 8
Pinch the plastic wrap by hand to create the pleated effect, removing bubbles as you go.

Step 9
After curing, remove the plastic wrap and apply chrome powder using the brush powder tips.

Step 10
Pour epoxy resin mixed with black pigment paste into the mold and let it cure.

Step 11
After 8–12 hours of curing, demold your piece. For extra transparency, apply a thin layer of sealing resin on top.
