:zoomer2:Step-by-step Instructions

Step 1

Mix epoxy resin in a 1:1 ratio by volume. Divide the mixture into 4 cups. Add red, gold, and white mica powder to three of the cups and stir well, leaving one cup clear.

:alert:Tip: After mixing in the powders, quickly remove bubbles by using a bubble remover machine or letting the resin sit for about 2 minutes.

Step 3

Pour the prepared resin into both sides of the bookmark mold, then add the dried roses. Let the mold sit undisturbed for about 12 hours until fully cured.

:alert:Tip: For more defined patterns and colors that don’t blend, let the resin warm to about 108°F (42°C) before pouring. Thicker resin creates a more three-dimensional effect.

Step 4

Once cured, use a metallic marker to highlight the kitten design on the mold (or any other embossed patterns).

:alarm:Pro Tip

:zoomer:In colder weather, epoxy resin thickens and traps bubbles more easily. To restore its fluidity, place the resin bottle in warm water (around 122°F / 50°C) for a few minutes before use.
