Difficulty: ★★☆☆☆
Crafting Time: About 2 hours
Tools and Materials Preparation
- Materials: Chocolate Gift Box, Dried Flowers, PVA Glue, Epoxy Resin, Flat Shader Brush, Tape
- Tools: Measuring Cups, Stirring Sticks, Tweezers
- Protective Equipment: Always wear nitrile waterproof gloves, a waterproof apron, and a respirator for safe handling.
Environment Setup
- Ideal Conditions: Maintain a temperature between 73–78°F with humidity no higher than 50–60% RH.
- Ventilation: Work in a well-ventilated area, ideally near a window, or use an air purifier for better airflow.
Step-by-step Instructions
Step 1
Use tape to remove the label from the chocolate gift box.

Step 2
Apply a thin layer of PVA glue to the dried flowers, then place them onto the box. Allow about 2 hours for them to set.
Tip: The PVA glue is for fixing the flowers in place. Keep the PVA glue layer as thin as possible to avoid extending the curing time.

Step 3
Mix equal parts of regular epoxy resin at a 1:1 ratio by volume in a measuring cup to prepare 7 oz of the resin mixture. Stir the resin evenly until there are no swirls(about 2 minutes). Then let it sit or place it in the bubble remover machine to remove bubbles.

Step 4
Pour the resin into the box until it completely covers the dried flowers. Cover with a dust cover and let it sit for about 12 hours to cure.
Tip: After the resin covers the flowers, gently press them with a stirring stick to release any trapped air bubbles to avoid bubbles in the final result.

Step 5
Complete! In just a few steps, you’ve got yourself a beautiful and handy jewelry box. Give it a try!
