- Tools: Measuring Cups, Stirring Sticks, Silicone Mat, Scraper
- Protective Equipment: Always wear nitrile waterproof gloves, a waterproof apron, and a respirator for safe handling.
Environment Setup
- Ideal Conditions: Maintain a temperature between 73–78°F with humidity no higher than 50–60% RH.
- Ventilation: Work in a well-ventilated area, ideally near a window or use an air purifier for better airflow.
Step-by-step Instructions
Step 1
Carefully place the dry maple leaf flat on a silicone mat. Use a tacky glue pen to evenly coat the surface of the leaf, then allow the glue to dry completely.

Step 2
Place gold hot foil over the maple leaf. Using a scrapeer, apply repeated pressure to ensure the gold hot foil adheres perfectly to the leaf.
Tip:
Pay attention to the pressure applied to avoid crushing the maple leaf.
Step 3
Place the leaf face down into the mold. Pour a layer of resin mixed at a 1:1 volume ratio into the mold and let it cure for about 12 hours.
Tips
①Pour resin only halfway into the mold, because a second layer will be added later.
②Pay attention to bubbles beneath the maple leaf. Gently move and press the leaf to release trapped air.

Step 4
Add the black pigment paste to the clear epoxy resin and mix evenly. Pour the black epoxy resin into the mold for sealing. Let it cure for 12 hours.

Step 5
After demolding, use a chrome marker to highlight the edges.

Step 6
Apply decorative stickers, and your project is complete! Try making one yourself!
