However, some users make the mistake of using both at the same time, which can lead to warping or deformation of the tools. To avoid these issues, here are some important tips to keep in mind.
Product Deformation's Cause
The heating mat and the leveling table cannot be stacked and used simultaneously. The high temperature of the heating mat will cause the leveling table placed on it to deform due to temperature increase, especially when the weight of the finished product is too heavy, the deformation will be more severe. The two products should be used separately.
Why Does Deformation Happen?
Heating mats and leveling tables should never be stacked together. The heat generated by the mat can cause the leveling table on top of it to warp - especially if you’re working with heavy resin pieces. The added weight increases pressure and makes the deformation worse. For best results, use these two products separately.
Usage Tips to Avoid Damage
For Heating Mats:
- Keep sharp objects away to prevent surface scratches.
- Monitor temperature carefully and avoid overheating.
- Do not cover the mat with a lid or enclosure - trapped heat may raise the internal temperature too high and cause the mat to warp.
For Leveling Tables:
- Once your resin pieces are fully cured, remove them promptly. Leaving heavy objects on the table for too long can cause the load-bearing surface to bend or deform.
