Step-by-step Instructions
Step 1
Lay the resin tape on the table (sticky sideup), secure both ends with craft sticks, and place the metal mold on top.
Step 2
Spread a thin layer of transparent UV resin inside the frame, then place the dried flowers.
Tip: Avoid soaking dried flowers for too long to prevent color bleeding.
Step 3
Cure them under the UV light for 1 minute. This helps prevent the UV resin from overflowing.
Step 4
After curing, apply another layer of UV resin to seal the surface, and cure again under the UV light for 2 minutes.
Tip: Once the front side is cured, flip the pieces and expose the back to the UV light for 2 minutes to avoid a sticky residue.
Step 5
Apply UV resin into the gems mold until it is half full, then place the dried flowers inside.
Step 6
Cure them under the UV light for 2 minutes. This helps secure the position of dried flowers.
Step 7
Finally, apply a layer of UV resin (clear/black/white) or glitter on top to seal, and cure them under the UV light for 2 minutes.
Tip: After the front side of the gems mold is cured, remember to flip the mold over (without removing the piece), exposing the back side upward, and cure for another 2 minutes to prevent stickiness on the back.
Step 8
Finally, use the electric hand drill in the kit to drill holes and assemble your piece with ear hooks. That's it! Isn't it simple? Let's give it a try!
Tip: When drilling holes, lie the earrings flat on the table for better control and to prevent the tool from slipping.
