Difficulty: ★★☆☆☆
Crafting time: About 1 hour
Material Preparation
- Materials: 1:1 regular epoxy resin, alphabet keychain molds, opal chunky glitter, holographic paper, resin dye
- Tools: mixing cups, stirring sticks, resin drill tools
- Protective Equipment: Always wear nitrile waterproof gloves, a waterproof apron, and a respirator for safe handling.
Environment Setup
- Ideal Conditions: Maintain a temperature between 73–78°F with humidity no higher than 50–60% RH.
- Ventilation: Work in a well-ventilated area, ideally near a window or use an air purifier for better airflow.
🔍Step-by-Step Operation Process
Step 1
Mix regular resin in a 1:1 volume ratio until thoroughly blended. Stir until no swirls and the mixture becomes transparent.

Step 2
Add Opal Chunky Glitter to the resin, then drip in resin dye, and mix evenly using a stirring stick.
Tip: Add color tint gradually in small amounts to avoid overly dark shades.

Step 3
Pour the resin mixture into one end of the alphabet, filling about half of the mold.

Step 4
Pour transparent resin into the other half to create a gradient effect. The total amount of resin should fill two-thirds of the mold’s depth. Allow it to be cured for 12–24 hours.

Step 5
After the resin has cured, place holography alphabet paper inside the mold.

Step 6
Cover with a transparent resin layer to seal and allow it to cure for 24 hours.

Step 7
Once fully cured, drill a hole on the side with a resin drill tool. Attach a keychain, and your glitter letter keychain is all set!

Pro Tip
The amount of the added colorants should not exceed 5% of the resin. Excessive addition may result in a sticky finish or prevent proper curing.
