:tool:Tools and Materials Preparation

  • Materials:Epoxy resin、Black epoxy resin、Apple mold、Alcohol Ink: Sugilite、 Chameleon Flake: Lime 、Chunky Glitter: Silver、Opal
  • Tools:Measuring cup, Stirring stick, Eyeshadow brush
  • Protective Equipment: Always wear respirator, nitrile waterproof gloves, a waterproof apron for safe handling.

  • Ideal Conditions: Maintain a temperature between 73–78°F with humidity no higher than 50–60% RH.
  • Ventilation: Work in a well-ventilated area, ideally near a window or use an air purifier for better airflow.

Step 1

Dip a brush into the chameleon flakes (or powder) and gently apply them to the inside of the mold.

:alert:Tip: An eyeshadow brush works perfectly for even application.

Step 2

Combine black resin in a 1:1 ratio by volume. Stir slowly for about 2 minutes, then let it rest for 5 minutes so bubbles can rise and escape.

Carefully pour the resin mixture into the mold.

If you’d like a red glittery look, add red colorant to clear resin, then mix in red glitter before pouring.

:alarm:Tip: Pay extra attention to the stem area of the apple lid, squeeze lightly to release trapped air bubbles, as this spot tends to form cavities.

Step 5

Spray soapy water along the edges of the mold, gently rub to loosen, and remove your finished apple jar.

:alert:Pro Tip

:shining:The mold has concave edges at the bottom, where rising bubbles can get stuck and leave small holes along the sides. About 30 minutes after pouring, use a stick to gently scrape along the bottom edge to release any trapped bubbles.
