Why does the Resin Preheater Suddenly Shut Off?

To make your resin projects smoother and more efficient, we've designed our resin preheater with a built-in LCD screen and timer. This makes it easy to adjust the temperature and time, so even beginners can quickly get the hang of it. Preheating resin helps reduce bubbles and enhances the transparency and hardness of your finished product, making your resin work easier and more enjoyable.
To ensure your resin preheater works properly and safely, here are a few important things to keep in mind when using it.
Common Reasons for Auto Shutoff
- Shut off after running for a long time:
The preheater has a built-in 12-hour auto-shutdown feature. If it runs continuously for 12 hours, the unit will automatically turn off to prevent overheating.
- Sudden shutdown during use:
Make sure to add water to the machine before turning it on. If the unit turns off suddenly within a few minutes, check if the water tank is empty or if the water level has reached the correct amount. Adjust the water level before restarting. If the water level is too low, the machine's protection system will trigger an automatic shutdown.
Issues to Avoid
- Operating environment: Place the resin preheater on a flat, dry, and well-ventilated surface. Keep it away from flammable or explosive materials, damp areas, and high-heat sources. Avoid direct sunlight.
- Appropriate use: The resin preheater is designed for warming resin only. Never use it without water, as this may activate the dry-burn protection feature.
- Placement: Ensure the resin bottles are placed flat to allow for even heat distribution.
- After an automatic shutdown: If the preheater shuts off due to dry-burn or over-temperature protection, turn off the power and allow the unit to cool down. Inspect the device and adjust the water level before restarting.
- After use: Always turn off the preheater and unplug it after use. Allow it to cool completely before cleaning or storing it to avoid injury.
